Reconstitution is a crucial step in preparing peptides for lab use. Doing it incorrectly can affect purity, stability, and research outcomes. Here’s a simple guide for safely reconstituting peptides like Retatide, Semaglutide, or BPC-157.
What You Need:
- Vial of lyophilized peptide
- Bacteriostatic Water (BAC)
- Alcohol swabs
- Sterile insulin syringe
- Gloves and clean workspace
Step-by-Step:
- Clean the rubber tops of both peptide and BAC vials with an alcohol swab.
- Draw the required amount of BAC water with a sterile syringe.
- Slowly inject it into the peptide vial, allowing the powder to dissolve gradually.
- Gently swirl (don’t shake) the vial until fully dissolved.
- Store in a refrigerated environment (2–8°C) and label with date/time of reconstitution.
Always refer to lab SOPs and handle peptides in sterile, temperature-controlled environments. Our peptides are intended strictly for research purposes and should never be used in human or veterinary treatment.
